HL Laser Series – Laser-Aiming Infrared Thermometer

Laser-sighted infrared thermometers with LCD and on-site settings, 4–20 mA output, covering −40 °C to 2600 °C across LT, IE, IN and SI versions.

A Class 2 laser marks the measuring spot for small targets that need precise aiming. Coding-list SKUs use 4–20 mA output and a 5 m cable; emissivity and signal processing can be set on the sensor.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does the laser aiming work?
Switch the Class 2 laser on with the button (or an external trigger cable). Do not point it at eyes or highly reflective surfaces.
How do I focus IE, IN and SI?
Switch on the laser, loosen the locking ring and turn the focusing ring until the laser spot is smallest and sharpest, then re-tighten.
What does the output do when the temperature is out of range?
Below range: display ---L, output < 3.8 mA · above range: display ---H, output 21–23 mA
How large does my target have to be?
The target should be larger than the measuring spot, especially where the target or the sensor may move. At the focus, spot diameter ≈ measuring distance ÷ distance-to-spot ratio (confirm D:S for your SKU).
